Ruben Ruiz, MSFS, ChFC, RFC will speak at the boot-camp alongside Nick
Hodges, CPA/PFS, MBA, CFP, Ursula Mentjes,
CEO, William Peterman, CPA, CFP, RFC, Ed Guerrero, CPA, Christopher J.
Passero, CPA, MA and Alan Lockhart, CEO.
Topics to be covered include providing more efficient methods to add
financial services and maintain the principles of tax practices and implementing the tax-financial services practice for profit,
tax-diversification is almost non-existent for the majority of tax clients,
using warm-based marketing questions to schedule financial planning meetings
with tax clients, closing financial services on the first meeting with tax
clients and the transition of converting clients to a fee-based asset
management advisory practice and increased revenue and family time.
Ruiz is President and CEO of The
Ruiz Financial Group, LLC and Regional Director of Money Concepts Financial
Planning Centers in San Marcos and San Antonio, Texas. Ruiz teaches, educates,
and provides consulting services to clients and associates in wealth management
and financial planning. Ruiz is one of a very few number of advisors (about 1%)
that has a Master’s of Science in Financial Services.
An avid speaker, Ruiz has spoken
to over 500 groups ranging from baby boomers and senior citizens to parents and
business owners, as well as educators, non-profit organizations, and corporate
employees on the topics of strategies to accumulate wealth, maximize their
tax-benefits, investment options, risk tolerance, and reaching their wealth and
financial independent goals.
A native of San Marcos, TX, he
holds a BBA in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State
University). He served as a member of the Texas State University Board on
Estate Planning and is a member of the University’s Alumni Association.
He received a Master of Science
degree in Financial Services (MSFS) from the American College (1928) in Bryn,
Mawr, PA.

(ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) from the American College, and the
Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designations.
